RFP FOOTBALL COLLECTIVE
RFP Football Collective brings ambitious young footballers together to train, compete and represent RFP Football at selected tournaments across NZ and internationally.
Players remain part of their own clubs while having the opportunity to step outside their regular environment, experience different opposition, challenge themselves and be part of something bigger.
The Collective isn’t simply about entering a tournament. It’s about creating an environment where players can:
Develop - Train with players from different environments and experience new coaching perspectives.
Compete - Test themselves against strong opposition from around NZ and internationally.
Experience - Travel, play, build friendships and experience football in new environments.
Grow - Develop confidence, independence, decision making and resilience alongside their football.

EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST
Parents and players register their interest in upcoming Collective opportunities.
TRIAL AND SELECTION
Players attend a trial where we assess their technical ability, game understanding, attitude and suitability for the team environment.
PREPARE
Selected players complete a preparation programme focused on developing our team principles, tactical understanding and connection as a group.
REPRESENT
Players come together to represent RFP Collective at the tournament.

Selected RFP Football Collective teams will travel to Queenstown to compete across multiple age groups.

A second tournament opportunity with Collective teams competing against clubs and academies from around NZ.

UK NXGEN INTERNATIONAL CUP

An opportunity to represent RFP on the international stage at the NXGEN International Cup held at Gordon’s School, Surrey, just outside London.
U16 | U18 Girls | 16 players per team

WHO IS THE COLLECTIVE FOR?
RFP Football Collective is for players who share our love of football and want to continue challenging themselves. Players who are committed to their own development and enjoy playing in a competitive environment. Players who are open to learning and want to experience football outside their usual club environment. Most importantly, players who can contribute positively to a team culture and are excited by the opportunity to represent RFP Football Collective.
You don’t have to leave your club. This is really important! The Collective, like our 1-on-1 training, works alongside and in addition to the player’s existing football environment. It does not replace it.
Players can continue playing for their clubs while joining RFP Collective for selected tournaments and programmes.
